The role
We are looking to hire a Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for analyzing customer behavior, monitoring market trends and generating insights that drive our strategic decisions. You'll play a key role in supporting commercial growth, optimizing our approach to pricing, customer segmentation and competitive intelligence.
As part of our team, you'll go beyond just crunching numbers - you’ll translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations. You’ll work cross-functionally to support everything from strategic initiatives to M&A evaluations, helping shape the future direction of our business.
Here at Kustom, you'll collaborate with skilled colleagues across Strategy, Finance, Product and Data to unlock opportunities through data. From building dashboards to performing due diligence, your work will have a direct impact on our growth. Our teams are based in Stockholm, where we value in-person collaboration to strengthen our culture and teamwork.
Things you'll be doing
Customer Behavior Analysis
- Analyze customer behavior across segments and payment methods
- Define data requirements and work with the Data team to ensure quality and accessibility
- Structure data from operational systems for commercial use
- Build dashboards to support business decision-making
Market & Competitive Analysis
- Compile macroeconomic and industry reports across current and potential markets
- Track and summarize competitor activity and trends
- Monitor market developments using both internal data and external research
- Maintain a live watchlist of market trends and strategic players
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Support the evaluation of potential acquisition targets
- Assist in the commercial due diligence process during M&A initiatives
Skills and experience you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in an analytical role (outstanding recent graduates are also welcome to apply)
- Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills
- Excellent Excel skills
- Familiarity with SQL is a plus (but not a requirement - logical thinkers pick it up quickly)
- Experience working with BI tools is an advantage
- Great communication skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Self-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
