The role

As a Senior Accountant at Kustom, you'll be at the heart of our financial operations, playing a crucial role in shaping our Finance team. You'll have the opportunity to develop and streamline our financial processes, drive automation initiatives and support the building of the best digital checkout solution on the market.

In this role, you'll take ownership of our full-cycle accounting processes, from daily operations to critical period closings. You'll work with ensuring our financial accuracy, while maintain the highest standards in our reporting and compliance. Your expertise will be vital in managing relationships with external stakeholders, from auditors to tax authorities.

Things you'll be doing

• Drive full-cycle accounting processes including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings
• Lead VAT reporting and statutory tax declarations
• Contribute to ERP and accounting automation projects
• Coordinate audit processes and maintain relationships with external stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members and share accounting knowledge and best practices

Skills and experience you'll need

• Certified Accountant qualification (or equivalent)
• 3-5 years of professional accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of Swedish GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite experience is a plus)
• Excellent English language skills
• Background in fast-paced environments and in-house financial operations
